Ball and Eagle Ornaments on Our Flagpoles
Most of us are probably wondering why there are ball and eagle ornaments on top of flagpoles . Some may even ask does it carry a purpose? Is it significant? What does it symbolize? A lot of answers have been given and yet a number of us still are still in the dark as to what it really is. Several of us think that the ball ornament represents the world and it is but proper that it is included on the flagpole. Others believe that the eagle ornaments symbolize freedom and hope. Thus every time we see these outdoor flagpole ornaments, we are reminded that we are living in this world as free men and hope is always at hand so never despair. And together with this is our responsibility of keeping our world as a better place so that the future generation will be able to enjoy the bounties that the world have.
Although a number of us think that these flagpole ornaments carry symbolisms, quite a few deem these objects as added decorations for the flagpole because it simply enhances the beauty and prestige that every flagpole carries. Likewise it only seems to add a little spice to the bare top of the flagpole.
Yet regardless of the reason we consider as true, we just have to remember that what is important is the symbolism that the flag carries. That whenever we see one, we ought to remember the responsibilities attached to us as believers of the flag. Because by doing so, we respect and honor our beliefs and our country.
